A Sign Of The Times
A Sign Of The Times (ASOTT for short) was a creative project of mine that combined my love of astrology & tarot that I developed in 2021. Although the project was unexpectedly short-lived, I learned quite a lot from it and am very proud of the branding I created, so I have decided to share that here. I have hopes to return to this project down the road once I’ve created my own tarot & oracle card decks to perform the readings with.
The idea behind this project was essentially just to mirror my own monthly card reading practice and find a way to make that easily accessible & affordable to others. I’ve been reading cards for the last 6 years and before that I was intuitively divining answers from the world around me (without having any language or knowledge of divination practices) for my entire life. In the last 2 years I’ve made immense progress with my mental health, personal growth, and self-development to which I credit to a multitude of factors but one of the biggest helps was my routine card reading practice.
Once you ask a question, your mind is naturally going to try and answer you. When you apply this phenomenon to tarot and you receive an answer from the cards, you’ll notice an array of thoughts/ memories/ and emotions bubble up from your subconscious mind in response. That’s where the good shit is. That’s what we’re looking for! Being mindful, open, and honest about the things that I noticed coming up for me in relation to my readings, unlocked so much healing and untangled many knots in my mind. I hope to revitalize ASOTT again someday so that I can help others help themselves in the same way <3
